Fruit TreE

Suggested Gift: $5

Who doesn’t like a nice ripe piece of fruit? Give a community the ability to serve up a sweet treat this holiday season.

Community Impact: Perennial fruit trees are an incredible resource to any farm. They not only produce nutrient rich treats but they bring soil fertility and their deep roots protect from destructive soil erosion.

Fun Fact: Mangos are related to cashews and pistachios. A mango tree can grow as tall as 100 feet. The bark, leaves, skin and pit of the mango have been used in folk remedies for centuries.

Laying Hen

Suggested Gift: $15

Our chickens lay golden eggs on the regular. In their chicken resorts equipped with roosting bars, swings, and outside roaming space, the chickens find themselves fully able to express their chicken-ness. We feed them resources grown on site, like the superfood moringa, to reduce cost and increase the vitality and health of the birds. Give a golden egg today!

Community Impact: A brood of chickens are incredible community cultivators. They lay eggs daily and deliver essential nutrients to fuel balanced diets and communities. They not only provide sustenance, but a source of income through sales in the local market. Our chicken farm in Cambodia produces around 15,000 eggs a month.

Fun Fact: Mangos are related to cashews and pistachios. A mango tree can grow as tall as 100 feet. The bark, leaves, skin and pit of the mango have been used in folk remedies for centuries.

Goat

Suggested Gift:  $50

A nanny goat will yield on average a quart of milk a day and a pair of goats will produce at least two kids a year. Goats are hardy and able to thrive in almost any climate and geography, especially on hillsides where agriculture could not usually be conducted. This enables the production of food in an area that was otherwise incapable of being farmed. They also produce a rich fertilizer for other farm projects.

Community Impact: Goats can provide dairy, fertilizer and weed management in agricultural systems. On top of that, they can provide a family with the joy and comfort of a pet. Goats will be the new puppy of 2018.

Fun Fact: Goats can be taught their name and come when called.

Sponsor a farmer

Suggested Gift: $75 for one full month sponsorship

Lend a farmer a hand and help fund the cost of a full time 1-month salary and start up costs. For $75, we can equip farmers with the comfort of being able to kick start their business as it grows and becomes sustainable. Furthermore, a number of our farmers in Haiti are still recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Matthew. An additional source of income can provide them with the flexibility to take risks, re-invest in their projects, and get them back on their feet.

Community Impact: One farmer working full-time on one of our projects through work and your sponsorship is able to support a family of 5-8 people. One job alone can radically impact a whole family. This ripple effect results with parents being able to send their kids to school, buy new clothes, pay off debt, and so much more...

Fun Fact: Some of our employees are in their 50s and 60s and these are some of their first real jobs.
